Opposition UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said a future UNP government would not honour commercial agreements entered into by the Mahinda Rajapaksa government due to the slur on the country s reputation caused by the fraudulent oil hedging agreement.
He told the media conference on Monday the controversial oil hedging blunder had caused a massive loss in foreign exchange that Sri Lanka, which was in the midst of an economic crisis could ill afford.
The repercussions will be unprecedented and the entire country will be forced to pay dearly for the colossal blunder by this government, Mr. Wickremesinghe said....Daily Mirror 03/12/08

Ranil seems to know...!
Especially the oil drilling agreements... Ranil know they are not legitimate because the sea bed there belongs not to Sri Lanka but to Tamil Eelam. Ranil know he cannot honor them because international law would not allow such!
So, this modayaa Ranil is not so stupid as some in GOSL! |

Define honesty first then you can define terrorism easily!
Honest means 'not lying, cheating or taking unfair advantage'
Could you please define the word 'terrorism'? To my knowledge, it is..

How many elections Ranil's donkies won in past 10-15 years?
He is going for a world record.
Today UNP is more broke than before, he is not able to win the trust of the general public while creating internal rifts among possible front runners.
Only Wajera Abewardena gets his approval but he is not as strong as sajith or SB, if no change in the UNP leader ship before next provincial council elections, MR is already set to win most of them, so do the general election, |

Eelamaya,
the sea bed there belongs not to Sri Lanka but to Tamil Eelam.
the only sea bed that belongs to the LTTE is all the sea tigers that went down.. even that it is part of Sri Lanka...:)) |

After the Poonarine tacktical withdrawal by LTTE (lets use the same term to avoid unnecessary hard feelings of our eelamists)
the approval ratings of MR is higher. he is going for early provincial council election to get maximum score. |
