The EU clarified today that the GSP+ concession to sri Lanka has not been extended


Just allowed to continue for 6 months.

The EU clarified today that the GSP+ concession has not been extended,
but will automatically remain until the conclusion of the ongoing probe.

GSP or NO GSP , 30 years of war prooven that Sri Lankans are more resilient than anyone else think..

Just a thought of Recession in EU push countries like Iceland and Italy to BEG money from World Bank..

So PULLI007 EU threat does not make any sense. The EU is already hitting recession and their economies are going down. Threat of removing of GSP+ is going to be a joke.

whether gsp Plus is extened ot not when economy is slowing down demand for import will automatically be reduced. so SL has double blow for its export economy

With the recession EU will be begging for cheaper products from SL. Hence they will need every reason to give all the concessions they can get.
