MDMK won't participate in All Party meeting: Vaiko

Chennai, Dec 1 : Marumalarchi DMK(MDMK) General Secretary Vaiko today said his party would not participate in the All-Party Meeting to be headed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on December 4 on the ceasefire issue in Sri Lanka after the ethnic conflict confronting the Island Nation

Gang kills DMK functionary
Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, Nov 30 : A ruling DMK functionary was allegedly murdered by a seven-member gang due to previous enmity at Aalmpadi Samathuvapuram Village, near here, last night.

Another one from Maliyadeva? I met him once at a party. Quite a gentleman. Actually he is better than Sarath Munasinghe in my opinion.


Yes Sir. Absolutely a class person. His father is also ex military. Used to teach English at Maliyadeva for a very long time. Asoka Thoradeniya is a lot senior to us but he always came by the college when he was home on a break. These guys never forget their roots.. and he and other senior guys inspired a lot of students to join the military.
