In Amparai district eastern special commander Col Ram lit the flame at a ceremony in Lahugala jungles in Pottuvil electoral district. Amparai district military commander Nahulan lit the flame in another function held in the Kanjikudichchaaru jungles.
10 wild Boars ,2 Hens(haban kukulos), 4 mee-minna's , 3 Uru Meeyos..attended the ceremony.. |

Deepest sympathies. You are lucky to have been in SL at that time. I too lost my mum on the 23rd, but couldn't make it as she was buried in 6 hours after she passed away. |

Lanka-e-News, December 01, 2008, 2.10 PM) Tamil People's Liberation Tigers (TMVP) has decided to boycott future meetings of All Party Conference in protest of the rapid increase of killings in the Eastern province charging that the government is responsible for the situation.
TMVP Secretary E. Kaileswararajah has informed this decision i writing to the Chairman of the All Party Representative Committee Thissa Vitharana.
Previously Karuna Amman participated in the deliberations of the All Party Representative Committee but the TMVP says that his future participations will not be party representation.
TMVP contested with the government as a coalition for the past Provincial Council election. |

| Adhill22 deepest sympathies ..was she ill for a while? you were not fortunate like me in that way.. i showered him 5 min before he passed away.. this is the first time i felt everything is impermenent .. in my life.. actually you know it but it wont feel untill it happens .. |
