Daisy,
India has gone all out in educating Masses abt Prevalance of Aids & Tamilnadu has reduced its Aids population by creating awareness by abt 20% !
This happens due to the fact that lorry truck drivers mostly originate from Tamilnadu & move all over india...

Mental Illness and Homelessness
An average of 16% of the single adult homeless population suffers from some form of severe and persistent mental illness. The mentally ill homeless population encounters more barriers to employment, tend to be in poorer physical health, and have more contact with the legal system than homeless people who do not suffer from mental disorder. All people with mental disorders, including those who are homeless, require ongoing access to a full range of treatment and rehabilitation services to lessen the impairment and disruption produced by their condition. However, most people with mental disorder do not need hospitalization, and even fewer require long-term institutional care
what do call it?..effects of 'homeless'ness or 'stateless'ness?

HIV rates in SL are lunatic speculations. Most people don't dare to make a test as it is way too shameful. Even buying condoms at pharmacies must be a disgrace for Sri Lankans.
I have done both in two of the main cities as well as in CMB. For me it's a fun joke, but for prude Sri Lankans a nightmare.
HIV rate in SL must be sky high, in particular along the coast with all the male and female prostitutes. |
