It is learned the Bishop has advised the President to tone down the Government's message after a 'bull in the china shop' approach by Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Italy, Hemantha Warnakulasuriya.

The Sri Lankan student who came under a gang attack in Malaysia had succumbed to his injuries, The Foreign Ministry confirmed. The Sri Lankan High Commissioner s office has requested the Malaysian government to conduct swift inquiries into the killing. |

As a loving father in a difficult situation, this is not a bad thing. This only proves he loves the nation including the people who are suffered from war and flood.
I can't get back with an Empty bowl
Cause 21 million people are expecting some thing from me at this difficult situation. What else he is expected to do, by hook or crook fill the stomachs of the nation.

Putting a euro in the till is not gonna effect the ecconomy at all. But when the Council decide to send relief materials to norht, better to be careful cause weapons too can come with that.. cause that is the plan of this Catholic council.. |

Peacemaker stabbed to death
A woman who was attempting to resolve a brawl between two youth was stabbed to death on Saturday night.
The two had started a brawl at a musical show, at Nagoda in Galle. Police said that a lady identified as Leelawathi (35), a mother of three, had come into the middle to resolve the brawl.
She was however killed during her attempt.
The two youth in question are reported to have fled the area. Nagoda Police are conducting investigations into the incident. |
