This is what I say to a friend here in Australia about the purpose:
'when good people go to a place the manifestation of bad is reduced to that extent. I do consider myself to be good and I hear that from Tamils all the time - sometimes Sinhalese too. If I see the issue from the side of attackers - then it would reduce the manifestation of attacks in the future. When your feelings for me are deeper than the thoughts you have about matters and issues - you would not need me to explain this.'

WITH HUMANITARIAN WORKERS IN WAR ZONES - YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO WEAKEN THEIR CONFIDENCE IN THE SIDE THROUGH WHICH THEY ARE HELPING THE ISSUE. IF YOU DID - THEN YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THEM LOSING CONFIDENCE IN THEMSELVES AND THIS PUTS THEM IN REAL RISK OF BEING ATTACKED BY THE OTHER SIDE UNDER MISTAKEN IDENTITY OR JUST TO SCORE POINTS WITH THEIR SUPERIORS.
