128 terror suspects arrested in Batticaloa in Eastern Sri Lanka

POLICE ASSISTED by Army and Special Task Force (STF) cordoned several areas in BATTICALOA and conducted a Combined search operation throughout the day time on Saturday (29).

Security Forces and Police were compelled to conduct this special cordon and search operation in the wake of a series of murders and criminal acts including the most recent killing of the medical officer.

Following intelligence information about presence of a few LTTE infiltrators, these combined cordon and search operations were conducted in BATTICALOA, ERAVUR, VALACHCHENAI, KARADIYANARU, VAKARAI, AITHIYAMALAI, VAVUNATHIVU, KOKKADICHOLAI, KATTANKUDI and KALAWANCHIKUDI.

Police questioned 11963 persons out of which 123 were detained for further inquiries. Three more suspects believed to have connections to the LTTE were also arrested during the search.

The operation ended by this evening around 06.00 p.m.

This is not the first time that civilians are killed. Colombo is responsible for the deaths and abductions of more than 2000 civilians since they broke CFA !

This is not the first time that civilians are killed.

This may not be the last time SLAF will use cluster bombs unless Eelamists Surrender...:-)

Human Right Watch already said its the TMVP that works for the government, so the government has to response to that...
.

so now tamil tigers getting caught is just a show for the government, no one is gonna listen to that, because we all know governmeny lies to themself even!

The Tamils diaspora and the LTTE uses Claymores and IEDs to kill and maim CIVILIANS in government held areas.
