It is sad but, Tamils are not going to have a proper 'political' leader ship for years to come. That's why a federal solution not going to materialise any time soon, and given the development that take place in liberated areas within the next 5-10 years, (given +ve) no body's going to talk about a federal soln afterwards...
that is based on your assumption that ltte will be out soon. you are making major error of judgement.

we lived as different ethnic groups in tamil and sinhala kingdoms in the island. so we cant compare our problem with other countries problems. north and east is homeland of tamil.
You guys never learn.
I don't know what authority you guys have on other peoples lives. |

I attended sunday mass today , father announced that the church is organizing a discussion on plight of eelam tamils ( interstingly the church hasnt used srilankan tamils, but the term eelam tamils ! ). The notice mentions that eelam tamils are facing genocide for the past 30 years.
The discussion is going to be held in Poonamallle , chennai on Dec 5 , 6 .

any way, it's pointless going through the whole history lesson again, but consider this,
if you belive N/E is a historical Tamil Homeland, there is way to go about establishing it (not through creating false history books/poems and reading thalaiver's text books on eelam history). It's an academic process, and through investigations this could be established, whether your historical claim is a fallacy or not.
Killing civilians on hearsay homeland is sin.
If it's only about fighting for a historical home land, you guys are never going to get one in Sri Lanka. It's simple as that. Try to get over it and come to senses. But if the fight is about living in dignity with others in Sri Lanka, then we are talking on the same wave length.
then the question is identifying the problems 'tamils' uniquely face and finding solutions to them within a practical framework... |

if sinhalese learn to live and let live tamil people and rule themselves no problem for any one. interfereing in others affairs is main obtacle.
sinhalase seems not learning anything for 50 yrs |

that's very true..
one kid from each family, one from each family, one female from each family, one grand parent from each family, etc etc...
that's genocide in my text book
and not to mention the elimination of all Tamils against the 'cause'
