Floods displace 71,000
Flooding has displaced more than 71,000 people and reports say 4 were killed as heavy rains continue to fall in the northern areas of the island. According to Disaster Management Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe the government plans to supply aid and emergency shelter to those affected.
