I don't think it is about Tamils saying we are SL's cos we are given a SL passport..ru saying people who are SL's in their hearts if they hold other foreign passports they have no right to say anything in this forum..

It is the Duty of the Government to treat all SL alike..It is the duty of the SL forces to safeguard all SL's. Am I right in assuming that..well in 1983 that did not happen..what was the action taken..nothing..Just an apology ah..

With the process of losing battles and real estate in the North,Eelamists attempted to re-invent racism and Ethnic Violence by deploying terrorism on innocent civilians.But it failed to influence Chingala Parasites to kill Tamil Saints in the South.This was a brilliantly timed mistake by Eelamists to grant GOSL a strong launching pad to eliminate Eelam Tamil Terrorism militarily.Hell... it did work perfect...:-)

If all Sri Lankans had the same view of each others, we wouldn't have had the ethnic problem.

If the majority can empathise the difficulties the minorities go though because of Sinhala Only Act or restricting fod supply or the minorities understand why the majority is intransigent on keeping the island for only themselves we may go nearer finding a middle way of settling our differences.

We have got to live in the country and peace must return, that is not possible so long as MR insists on Unitary state or VP on Eelam.

I watched with shock and disbelief on the TV, visuals of Karkare trying different helmets and bullet-proof vests before choosing one which suited his build. Here was the most threatened officer of the Mumbai Police and the Government had not even given him a protective gear tailor-made for him. This is a telling instance of the casual way we handle counter-terrorism and we look after our brave officers fighting terrorism.

The reported use of boats and dinghies for the clandestine transport of men and material for terrorist strikes on land is an old modus operandi (MO) used in the past against Israel. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) had copied it from them. The anti-India jihadis have emulated their West Asian counterparts.
