what is the problem in kili? why none is claiming kili is captured including defencewire and defence.lk???

the LTTE have, regardless of allegations of discrimination and atrocities of 83, behaved in a way abhorrent to humanity, and remains intransigent and that GOSL has no reason to trust them or to enter into fresh wave of negotiations.

Yes, LTTE has. They have acted abhorrantly and are intransigent.

GOVT.
By the same token, the govt also have been abhorrent and intransigent.

Abhorrant because denying food and not investigating killings and abductions.

Intransigent because
1. No govt ever produced a sincere soluton to the ethnic problem

2. Even now the govt insists on PC system within Unitary govt. PC system vests all the executive powers with the Centre which has been ALWAYS in the hands of the Sinhalese leaders. In other words the govt circumvent the system to retain absolute control over the minorities which is insulting and unnecessary.

I don't think any of the Tamils who were affected is living in the past and i also do not think it is a continuous attempt to get rid of Tamils in Colombo. It is not right for you to say if Tamils are to be killed they won't be living in Colombo cos 1983 did happen.

The saddest part is at that time there was no apology to the Tamils by the Gosl led by the racist President JRJ. There were no compensation paid to the affected Tamils..nothing whereas when the sluice gate and the Mavilaru incident took place, the affected farmers were paid compensation..(the money actually reached the farmers or went into the Ministers pocket is a different issue)

tell me why the Tamils were not treated as Sri lankans.
What did they do to the Gosl to be ignored

Well Tamils are treated as Sri Lankans.. they carry the Sri Lankan Passport and the Sri Lankan ID and at present they are not ignored.. they do play a key role in the SL economy.. but about the compensation issue I don t know.. but CBK did apologize..
