many have written article on this. nachO has uploaded one. sinhalese are really happy about the timing of the attack. not only it has happened on maweerar day it has happened in a week where karunanith has plnned to discuss with central govt regarding eelam tamil issue.
eelam tamil are really unlucky people with regard to getting support from IC.

| Idiots can be defined as a bunch of people who never learned their lessons and continue to do the same mistakes. Those of who are in the LTTE side others need to know who they are dealing with. Yes, 1983 riots or whatever other things you all mentioned, there have been conflicts. Government wanted to overcome these and stand as one country, not sending suicide bombers to Jaffna and government could have done that just like LTTE is doing. That is not the point. The point is to let the history be history and move on with the present. But if you are an idiot, you recall the history and want to depend on the history, that main idiot is Prabakaran, and most funny thing is that there are more bunch of idiots there to follow his path. |

Talking about history wont solve your problems..think about the rootcause and strike that. without identifying root cause you r talking the problems means it shows your indifference in solving the problem in totality |

That is exactly where you are going wrong. You want to stike the root. :) Yes, you can strike the root before it grows, once it is grown, it is little hard to deal with which is why we lost 65000 soldiers. Something that India could have done to disarm prabakaran, they did not take seriously they should have been. Main disability people have is to identify the tamil versus terrorsim which are two different things.

The Sri Lanka Army is yet to issue death certificates for many of its slain soldiers, Spokesman of the 'Defence Watch', Mangala Samaraweera said.
Noting that only the cremation certificate has been issued, he added that the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation has informed these families that it was not sufficient to obtain the compensation of soldiers who are insured.
So, the time of many slain soldiers' families who are attempting to obtain the insurance compensation is wasted at insurance companies each day, he further says.
Mr. Samaraweera was speaking at the media briefing of the 'Defence Watch' on Nov. 27th.
The SLA is to recruit thousands in the future. The government has decided to send such persons recruited from Dec. 01st to the warfronts in the north for six months without insuring them for six months. Thus, inexperienced soldiers are being sacrificed like broiler chickens, he said.
Revealing that the government has already decided to deploy 50,000 security force personnel to fortify the liberated regions, he also said that the SLA is to recruit 22, 000 soldiers and the Sri Lanka Navy is to recruit 8,000 sailors.
In addition, 5,000 and 15,000 are to be recruited to the Sri Lanka Air Force and to the Police respectively, he added.
