German tourist raped in Marawila
A female German tourist was raped in Marawila last night by three armed young men who entered the Hotel she was occupying. The three who were staying at the same Hotel raped her, and robbed her jewelry amounting Rs. 3 million.
The victim`s son is married to a Sri Lankan, who is running a tourist hotel in the vicinity. Marawila Police have employed the use of police dogs and fingerprint experts in their investigations.

Where else in the world does this happen?
In fairness there have been several such cases even here in Canada, which is more expected than in Sri Lanka I guess. Killing Tamils of all ages sure, but raping old women, maybe a new low. |
