dont get paranoid, just asking a question. If you can prove that Tamils and Sinhalese are being treated equally then I wont ask these questions

it's ok to ask questions but not on a personel level as you did. I believe that all humans are equal no matter what. We Sri lankans only need to follow the path of Buddha's teaching to understand this.
Coming to your question about equality between Tamils and Singhalese, I agree that there have been mistrust and discrimination from the majority side. But by keep digging the past we can never move forward. The LTTE also equally responsible for the pathetic and hopless situation of Tamils in SL. I also see that the mainstream Singhalese side has changed it's position on Tamils a lot last 15+ years. Did we have a pogrom as in 1983 for last 25 years? Beside do you think LTTE geniunely want peace in SL? They have spoiled every possibility for peace in last 20+ years. The LTTE even made India as an enemy country when it's only one can able to guarantee existence of Tamils in SL. But today cry for help from the same country which they killed it's Prime Minister.
So I advice you to think of a scenario without current leadership of the LTTE. We need to bring India back to main stage and implement the 1987 agreement. Otherwise Tamils future in SL is very bleak.

I am sure it is too harsh for these low caste sinhala LNP guys who are spitting venom on Lankan tamils on daily basis

Sri Lankan National Flag could be saved when your negotiated ceasefire come into force...lol...
At present, the SL flag is depicting true sinhala chavunism that is root cause of the SL affairs for the past 3 decades and when genuine ceasefire is implemented, the flag will be modified to depict meet the aspirations of all the communities in SL, especially tamils and srilankans. |

I was always wondering why the national front wasnt getting a nudge from the south too!
