Finally I have come to a conclusion that the people of Singhala faith want all other people to leave so that they can create a secular state.Then what? you still have to go to work. It is their fear of being minority in the South Asia makes them feel insecure. Insecure people always react violently. It is understandable for fear leads to insecurity, insecurity leads to violent bahaviour. I hope India and the Tamils understand this, but the singhalese also must understand and accept it. The Singhalese think if they can eliminate LTTE and also the Tamil then they are secure. Security comes from internal strength not by annihilating another.
I think as a prudent measure The Tamils must study Sinhalese language and give respect to Buddhism. But that make them feel secure? Only the Sinhalese can tell that to us. But as it is all they know is violence. So how does one talk to them?Every time we stretch the hand they are cutting our hand. I am writing this from the safety of a democratic country, I have no interest other than my people in sri Lanka. These people are being put through hardship. I hope as human beings both Sinhalese and Tamil must restrain their attitude and let those people live in peace. |

India may not be promoting the Tamil Eelam you desperately wanted ,but it is not a feudalistic society entirely ,though it carries elements of that in this 21st century. However India stands as the largest democracy and the most secular country in the world .
It is the duty of the Diaspora Tamils to align with the Euro-American Establishment and bring about sociological changes in South Asia. With Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton we may be able to do it.
BTW good luck with Obama and Hillary ,the two most prominent hypocrites in the world today.

Please explain to me why bank manger trying to inter to Vanni,who is government servant in Vanni,government pay salary to this monsters,and fighting with government forces.remember that captured LTTE women carder English teacher,while having government salary and killing government forces,very low grade human beings(SAKKILLY),only Sri Lanka feed this animals and pay salary to kill SLDF.who come out from Vanni, don't let them back in to Vanni. very good move by SLDF.

It could be that these officials do not actually wish to go back. But they have to put up a show and pretend that it's the Army that keeps them entering Wanni.
They do this, because otherwise the LTTE will send its pistol group to kill them.
Meanwhile AI and other mouth-pieces who work for money (big salaries), have to do something every now and then. They are worried about their own survival.
Imagine a peaceful sri lanka, without terrorism, then the human-rights industry will lose a profitable market for them
