Patriotic Or Culprit
A Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldier opened fire at fellow soldiers, killing two and wounding 15 while the SLA soldiers were engaged in training at Lindagama in Nochchiyagama in the North Central Province Friday around 2:00 p.m.
The injured soldiers were rushed to Anuradhapura hospital. The two killed soldiers were identified as Madhusanka of Gampola and Wijeratne of Matale.
The soldiers attached to Lindagama Army camp had set up a road block and were trained how to act on an emergency situation. The soldier who opened fire also took part in the training and was hiding behind a house close to the road block when he opened fire at his fellow soldiers. |

What the singhalese people don't realize is that these same things will be repeated on the Singhalese areas. It is not war between people, it is war between two group of thugs. What sri lankan people do not realize is that every day and every minute Sri Lanka is going back wards. We see that in the people who recently arrived from Sri Lanka, poorly educated. malnourished and mal behaviour.
Who in the world will listen to our plea? Once the people go back wards it will be very hard to bring them back into main stream world. As it is they are all bent on war and violence. That itself is an indication that the society is no longer an organized entity.
I think India is the culprit here, if there is peace in Sri Lanka then most of the world investment go to sri lanka. India being a feudalistic country with social classes cannot lead the people of South Asia out of Racism, Fanaticism, Caste and class system.
It is the duty of the Diaspora Tamils to align with the Euro-American Establishment and bring about sociological changes in South Asia. With Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton we may be able to do it.We must not miss this opportunity.
I thought some body will do it, some body thought some body else will do it. That some body is every one of us. |
