Tamil youth shot dead in Ampaa'rai

TamilNet, Friday, 21 November 2008, 18:13 GMT

Unidentified armed men shot and killed a Tamil youth Friday around 9:05 p.m in Vinaayakapuram in Thirukkoayil police division.

The victim was identified as Kokulan, a resident of Vinaayakapuram.

Thirukkoayil police who inspected the site of the killing are investigating into the killing.

Another youth. Looks like Karuna is balancing the sheet.

Tamil family man shot, injured in Batticaloa

TamilNet, Friday, 21 November 2008, 18:16 GMT

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a Tamil family man as he was walking along the road in Tha'lavaay, Vellaave'li in Ka'luvaangchchikkudi police division in Batticaloa district Friday around 7:15 p.m, seriously injuring him, Ka'luvaangchchikkudi police said.

The injured family man is Paalippoadi Kurukkalsingam, 43.
Kurukkulasingam was rushed first to Ka'luvaangchchikkudi hospital and then transferred to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

Ah.. this time no youth. but a family man.
