ltte defended the first fdl for 4 days and then withdrew /sla then advanced to the fdl/ltte arty and mortar then opened up /sla soldoers in the open sought safety in th fdl trenches and bunkers and nearly and hour after that the explosions started/sla had to withdraw from parts of the fdl.
