The government said yesterday that LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran could contest elections in the country if he gave up arms and entered the democratic mainstream.
This same modayaas who are now trying to befriend with VP go to India, US, EU etc and tell VP is a 'terrorist'...
IC must look at this carefully. This is a clear indication that Chingalayaas are not telling the truth. This is why India should recognize VP as head of state in Tamil Eelam and offer recognition. This is why UN should recognize Tamil Eelam as the newest nation to joing the leage of nations at UN |

Do you even consider what is happening to the mentalities of children witnessing all of these atrocities? Nobody deserves this kind of living especially those who are not in the battle field.

I had some of your compulsions thinking of all our political leaders has made a mess of these poor innocent tamils hopes and aspirations and we are responsible for that and should bear some kind of their vent of pent up anger. was even willing to consider all forms of internal self determination to do whatever they wanted, even absorbing their attacks on our so called economic targets where pure and simple civilians get killed like 97 in central bank and also to some extent our most venerable monks and samanera's getting hacked to death like that 28 in arantalawa and all that.
then came this bus bombings like pettah and kebithigollewa and many other places and train bombings like dehiwala and very recent again bus bombings like piliyandala and moratuwa. went to funerals of number of my relatives, friends, people in my area that got killed by these and while sipping some dusted pure ceylon tea and home brewed coffee listened to the people in these funeral homes telling how it is important for the govt to finish this war at whatever cost and be done with to allow them to carry out their peaceful day to day lives with the part of that 52% tamil population and the second majority muslim next door neighbour. So I changed my mind. finish the terrorism and then talk about a political solution. remember we voted 51 to 49 percentage to MR to Ranil and then just few months back voted 60 to 30 % (the other 10 to JVP and the rest) the same parties. so you see how we changed. |

If Tamils get a separate state, I would say R Sampanthan or Jeyanandamoorthy should lead. Nadarajah Raviraj would have been ideal leader if he wasnt murdered by SL gov.
I think VP said that if Eelam was established he would step down.
