yes I do have some evidence
The clear cut evidence is the report published by Rodney Jonclass ( A Burger film director)
When he was doing his preliminary research work for his first film 'RANMUTHUDUWA' he found that 1000s of items with a historical value ( ALL OF THEM BELONGS TO BUDDHIST TEMPLE WHICH WAS BELIEVED TO BE DESTROYED BY THE PROTEGEES OR THE THEN HINDUS WHO BUILT THE THIRUKONSWARAM)
found in the sea.
The entire eastern province belong to the sinhla kingdom through out the history .And not a single fake peelam historian can prove that the there were early Tamil settlers present in this area
In total there are more than 6000 places with Buddhist historical values lies through out the eastern province.( MOST OF THEM WERE BUILT 2000 YEARS AGO)
And Hindus got thirukethiswaram Temple which was built by destroying a Buddhist temple in 1950s by using SANSTHA CEMENT
