Sri Lankan Tamils in Canada stop LTTE Suicide Bombers Day celebration in Toronto
Sri Lankan Tamils in Canada averted an attempted LTTE propaganda event that was scheduled to be held at University of Oshawa (Durham College), Toronto on Tuesday (Nov 18).
According to informed sources in Toronto, the Tamil Students Association of the College was the main organizer of the event, scheduled from 3-7 PM at the college premises.
'This student organization is under the strict influence of top LTTE terrorists in Canada. They have misled the College authorities that the scheduled event was a cultural show', our sources said.
Speaking further the sources said that pro-LTTE MP Mano Ganshan was to deliver the keynote address at the function.
'The real aim of the event is to celebrate the annual Suicide Bombers Day of the LTTE. The MP was sponsored by the LTTE to Canada in order to give a fund raising boost to the terror outfit', he said.
Sri Lankan Consulate General in Toronto too was notified of the true nature of the event and the matter brought to the notice of the College authorities. A large number of Sri Lankans living in Canada, including a large number of Tamils, had sent emails to the college authorities requesting them to cancel the event, following which the event was cancelled. |

Lalith-- fourth strategy is VP should become the president of SL to eat dosa,vada for 10cts,see nambiar,jayalalitha,
films in indo ceylon,ambal,saraswathi for .55cts.
Latith now I remember my cousins friends all Royal/Thomians
visit jaffna,put in all the relatives houses,get to gether in the mornings to visit keerimalai & other places of interest,get the tastes of fried cuttle fish,prawns etc.
It was very interesting to see the chingala/thamil mix.until christain turned budhist Banda made chingalam/
budhism #1 in SL,& created this mess.If lalth can remember
where are the others who ate .5cts dosa,visited Jaffna.Are they in SL.When are we going to see wesley college crickters play St johns in Jaffna(late 50s).See sarath

Fifth strategy also will work better if eelam desam & chingala naadu emerge with two good friendly leaders take over command.Mahindage chindanaya with a PM with leaking
brain will have to be buried alive before they die.

Task Force 1 captures LTTE Airstrip Paranthan
Task Force 1 now marching towards Paranthan LTTE stronghold has captured one of the LTTE airstrips located in the Nivil area this afternoon (Nov 20).
According to the defence sources in the filed, the airstrip is about 200m in length. Troops have established their forward boundaries about 9 km from Paranthan and engaged in clearing operations at present, the sources added.
The LTTE terrorists are the first terror outfit to procure airpower introducing a new dimension to the global terrorist warfare.
