The international media of global information monopoly and its agencies operating in Colombo have been reduced to a position to report whatever the government says as news.


Isn't that what happens everywhere in the world? Does anybody get the real picture of what happens in Iraq? The Americans have an 'imbedded' press which reported what the American war machine told them. So, SL is no different from the Sole Super Power when it comes to reporting the happenings in the war front.
