When these funds were deposited,TRO was a registered charity.
As a registered charity it can do its transections legally.
By confiscating the leagally deposited funds of a registered charity,the pariah state has indulged in broad daylight robbery.
The modayas are not only beggers but also robbers.
What next? |

Reporters Without Borders yesterday urged the Sri Lankan authorities to release the Tamil radio channel manager who was arrested in Colombo on Saturday.Senior radio presenter A. R. V. Loshan who is the manager and journalist of FM Vettri was picked up by Terrorist Investigation Department (TID) agents.
The 32-year-old with more than 10 years radio experience has worked for five years for the station, which is owned by the ABC media group.
Reporters Without Borders said two other Tamil journalists - J. S. Tissainayagam and Vettivel Jasikaran - are already being held under the anti-terror law.
The fianc e of the second of them, Valarmathi Jasikaran, has also been imprisoned in Colombo in harsh conditions, Reporters Without Borders said.
Last month Reporters Without Borders said Sri Lanka had the lowest press freedom rating of any democracy and has been the first to use anti-terror laws to prosecute journalists.
In the recent World Press Freedom Index published by RSF, Sri Lanka was given the lowest press freedom rating of any democratic country worldwide

Non-Brahmin priest attacked by upper castes in Tamil Nadu
Chennai : An 80-year-old non-Brahmin priest, famous for his struggle to get permission to offer prayers in Tamil, was attacked allegedly by a group of priests at the Nataraja temple in Chidambaram on Monday night.
The priest, Arumuga Samy, recently obtained an order from the Madras High Court to offer prayers inside the sanctum sanctorum, and entered the temple premises under police protection despite protests from higher caste priests.

Well!!
The govt can use this as humanitarian funds,which is a good cause. Other than using them for terrorism.
