They have been forced to 'celebrate',by the occupying cowards.If they refuse,they know what will happen to them.
So,people of Jaffna did not 'celebrate' on their own accord.

More Tamil civilians escape terror clutches - Jaffna
17 Tamil civilians who had escaped from LTTE dominated areas in Wanni came to Idappatalai area in Jaffna last morning (Nov 17). According to the defence sources in the area, 6 males and 11 females including 5 children arrived in a boat crossing the Kilaly lagoon.
The civilians told the security forces authorities that there are tens and thousands of civilians in LTTE dominated areas in Wanni are waiting to get free from the LTTE tyranny. |
