Last year itself we had 673 illegal immigrants from TN doing odd jobs in Colombo ...dumped in a cargo ship, kicked out of the country like dogs!!!:)))))))))
17 fishermen rounded up by Sri Lankan Navy

PUDUKOTTAI: A total of 17 fishermen of Jegadapattinam in the district, who went fishing on Monday morning, were reportedly rounded up by the Sri Lankan navy for having crossed the International Maritime Boundary Line.
According to official sources, the fishermen ventured into the sea in five mechanised boats. They were scheduled to return on Tuesday. A team of Sri Lankan naval officials stopped them fishermen and took them to a coastal police station in Sri Lanka. |

Schoolgirls allege sexual harassment at waterpolo

Visakha Girls College has lodged a protest with Sports Minister Gamini Lokuge over an alleged sexual harassment of its team by Air Force players during last Sunday s waterpolo final at the National Aquatic Championships held at the Sugathadasa Stadium pool, the Daily Mirror learns.
The Visakha girls have alleged that they were bitten, squeezed and poked at sensitive spots during the final which they lost to the Air Force team 7-5.
