WRONG. The stronger link with India is Hinduism. Tamil combined with Hinduism is a stronger foundation than just the religion or the language.

Then what abt the christian tamils of Sri Lanka....Then don't you think that Christian tamils of Sri Lanka are damn lucky to be in Sri Lanka than in TN, so that they don't have to fear for their lives of getting forced conversion into Hinduism and the nuns to be get raped in public and burnt alive!!
