Now that is a huuuuuuuuuge lie. 80% of the Sinhalese do not have the power to say any such thing. They only have the power to nominate someone who would deliver on that basis. If MR is that person - then pawam - the Sinhalese because - MR does not know how to raise it to the global level to earn high status at that level. That's when effectively Tamils will run the country to save all.

So the only similarity between SL tamils (including you) and TN tamilians is the Language!But the dilect too is different!
WRONG. The stronger link with India is Hinduism. Tamil combined with Hinduism is a stronger foundation than just the religion or the language.
There are cultural differences too! And why the hell is these TN tamilians are shouting abt the hardships of the tamils here...
You jumped to conclusions that seem pleasant to you. TN tamilians feel strongly connected to Tamils all over the world through these two fundamental faith based links and more on the cultural commercial side through their film media - especially their film industry which is practically the only entertainment external for many Tamils in Sri Lanka
So it is not really the 'brethern' they are worried abt, something related to a Separatism of TN in India
Both are the same.
Sinhalese missed the boat by failing to include Tamils through greater faith. Hence Natural Justice took over and naturally connected TN power to Lankan Tamils.
