Why and what is this 'Thatchanai'


Thatchanai is the feel paid to a guru by the student to show the student's valuation of the guru's wisdom. The richer you are in money - the more visible is the amount paid. If you do not have money you pay through genuine services to the guru - like massaging the feet of the guru. How about that one?

Thsi is better....Peelamists are helping to Sri Lankan government.....this week they send the food itmes to Vanni people.SO GOSL can save money...after that they have donated 71 million ruppes.....Thanks Peelamists...:-)))

TRO did submit Audit repots to UN org and The SL govt..I agree there are links with tigers..But atleast they have done alot to the refuges.
In aus TRO is been run by well qulified people.. thats why its not baned.
Anyway.. TRO still operating well

Warning that recession in the US economy would hit India and shatter its budget projections, CPI-M demanded immediate halt to futures trading in all essential commodities to contain inflation and corrective measures for the stability of the Rupee.

'In order to check speculation and inflation, futures trading must be stopped in all essential commodities though the government has removed pulses, wheat and rice from the purview of forward market due to our pressure,' CPI-M Politburo member Sitaram Yechury told reporters here.

Stating that the US has officially admitted that its economy was going through rough times, he said, recession, falling value of Dollar and growing unemployment in America would have adverse impact on India and the Government must initiate corrective measures to tackle the situation.

Observing that Rupee has appreciated by 13 per cent during the past one year, he said decline in exports and manufacturing sector coupled with badly hit IT and textile sectors would cause considerable loss of jobs. ..
