They are two different species - ( like multi & sigle -- celeeese!)

look similar !-but SMALLER!

I have SEEN, HEARD them in SL

Bakamoonaas say (of course in Sinhalese) Hoom Hoom!
Bassaas say something like ( in Sinhala again!) Bathique! Bathique!

I'll get the scietific names tomorrow!

Remember...Gen Fonseka has been granted an extension for another 12 months


LOL. He will be given another year's extension at the end of next year too. And the year after and the year after that....

Indian Army officer linked to more blasts

New Delhi, November 18 (KMS): The list of investigating agencies that want to question Lieutenant Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit, the Army officer arrested for the Malegaon blast, is getting longer.

Purohit and nine other people have so far been arrested for blasts in Malegaon in Maharashtra on September 29 in which five people were killed. Purohit had trained the people who carried out the blast and supplied explosives.

The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Haryana Police wants Purohit s custody to interrogate him
in connection with the explosion on the Samjhauta Express train


sheeeesh...even trains are not safe out there!..what a place eh?...

Migrant worker beaten to death in India

MUMBAI, India (AP) An Indian laborer was
beaten to death on a train,
the latest attack on migrant workers in the country's financial and entertainment capital, police said Wednesday.

Police have opened a murder inquiry and detained two people for questioning, said K.P. Raghuvanshi, additional director-general of Railway Police.

Dharamdev Rai, 25, and three other laborers from impoverished Uttar Pradesh state were attacked Tuesday by a half dozen people aboard a local train, Raghuvanshi told The Associated Press.

Train bogeys burnt in anti-Thackeray protests in Bihar

Patna, Oct 22 : Angry mobs, comprising mostly students, Wednesday set ablaze some coaches of three trains, blocked railway traffic and damaged public property in various parts of Bihar in protest against assaults on Biharis by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) activists in Maharashtra.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Wednesday evening held a meeting with top officials to take stock of the situation
