It's not OK. Until it is proven as in the Rajiv Gandhi case no one can be certain who killed him. One day it will come out, why the govt has not produced the suspect in the court is because
1. the suspect might have been severely tortured to get confession or
2. If it turns out to be than the military or political rival had a hand in it, the complexity of the govt/ president will come out and the lies will explode on the govt faces.
The killings of Tamil MPs and jounalists are believed to have been committed by the military or military assisted paramilitaries like the kidnappings thro' govt installed check points.
