VP destroys the North and MR the entire country especially the North.
People will vote him still and why is that! So we, as the citzens of Sri Lanka wants to destroy our country!
Both cannot continue their madness of killing and destroying. VP will continue random attacks if direct military confrontation is costly and defeating, he cannot be easily written off from what he did in the past.

MR's fortunes are nearing its end. He must defeat LTTE soon or will face backclash in the South and may even lose the elections he is planning. That's is how militarily jingoistic leaders face defeat.

You guys are pathetic.... all this time it was all hooyyya for the LTTE... now that the LTTE is non-entity in Sri lanka is about to wiped out completely you are turning against the LTTE!

If we gave up on our boys after all the debacles, I would be living under LTTE rule by now... but no, we stuck with our boys, we changed our ways and we are giving you hell...

There is no point announcing his willingness for any poltical slution now.
He should have done and acted when he was strong and when there was decent leaderships like CBK Ranils were there.
2nd point is valid. It's late now
On the 1st, the West believe that VP will not budge from Eelam and therefore do not want to stop the war and force MR for a negotiated solution, and stop with diplomatic pressure. If he openly says he is for a Federal solution within a United Sri Lanka this will compell the IC to intervene. India also will intervene and at least stop military help, that will tilt the opinion of MR and hard liners. SL cannot ignore the Centre in Delhi.
MR sees LTTE as a problem, not as a part of problem. Thats is the difference between him and others and that is the reason for his recent militory success.
MR projects LTTE as a problem. If he really wants to solve THE problem he cando what India and other IC want, table a political proposal and a road map to peace. Even if LTTE does not agree he can by-pass and get the minorities back him and his solution, if it is genuine and reasonable.
What MR wants is to weaken LTTE and impose his unitary solution because there will be no pressure on him to be reasonable to the minorities. |

Tell me what is the position of people like Gani, Kannan (kalachuvadu) and decent tamil writers from your country. Do they support LTTE.
Not in the Public, as we respect our laws. But we do support LTTE, at least they dying for your sake. In that way.

The LTTE are dying for VP's sake! Are the LTTE fighting for tamil rights??? Has any of the $300+ million been provided to the tamils that are starving in the LTTE controlled areas??? What has the LTTE done for the tamil race and for tamil rights??
The LTTE are only fighting so that that fat pig can still stay in power! If there's peace, where will the fat pig be?? He has no place to exist! Have a good think about this! |
