Civilians killing by aerial bombing goes unabated, the president doesn't seem to care the deaths and sufferings of minority Tamils nor does he take any notice of International opinion, so long as extremists are kept hppy with an eye of a quick election before things turn sour on the ground.
SLA artillery barrage kills civilian in Paranthan, 6 wounded

Sri Lanka Army (SLA) launched an intensive artillery barrage targeting all the roads from Paranthan junction from 2:35 p.m. on Monday, killing a 24-year-old youth in front of Paranthan St. Antony's Church and causing injuries to six, including two elderly men, in the town. Two sisters were severely wounded and were admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the Tharmapuram hospital.

when you look at the hunger index in tamilnadu, over 30% of the TN population lives without any food for at least 24 hours...
What TN hunger index ? The last time they tried to do that the guys preparing the index ate the damned index because they were so hungry... :)
So the Central Govt did a conservative estimation.

Who care ? Name me at least one 'Sri Lankan' who care about these civilians and IDPs ?
AnuD is ready to call racism whenever a Sinhala dies, when it is Tamil civilians, most 'Sri Lankans' are more than happy, and that can not be called racism. Pathetic justice. |
