how can they afford to send 1700 tonnes of food to sl while their own are dying of humger???? but then....they are always looking after everyone else's business so i think it would be unrealistic to expect any better!

65 million tamils in TN...
1700 tonnes (say all food)
1000 people donated about 20kg food...

can you feed 1000 people from 20kg of rice?
what a joke...
these peelamists are good at talking numbers... but never look at the real picture...

	India, the world s largest foodgrain producer, also has the world s largest hungry population, over 200 million. It ranks a poor 66th among 88 developing and transitional countries on the 2008 Global Hunger Index (GHI-2008) maybe sl should divert the 1700 tonnes back to other parts of india where it is really needed...on grounds of sympathy???
