Going to polls at this crucial time may be political suicide for the President RAJAPAKSHA.
If by any unluck voters decide to return to power the UNP of traitor Ranil, all this war efforts will come to a grinding halt.
The biggest winner will be the fat terrorist butcher Prabakaran, surpassing even Ranil's UNP!
Some opposition parties including Ranil's UNP is playing the 'high cost of living card', 'high fuel cost', 'employment to Rajapaksha family' and a host of real & false accusations against the Rajapaksha regime.
Mahinda Rajapaksha has the courage & the ability to win this National plague- the tiger terrorist war!
MR will do his biggest irrevocable political blunder if he dissolves Parliament to hold fresh dual elections.
Whats the hurry? All patriots including religious leaders are behind the President!
Finish the terrorist war & go to polls to get a much bigger mandate.....

I think they have got 'sasara kalakireema' and are wishing for a hasty release from the suffering.

Release from sufferings is correct. Kokila does not trust any TVMP members. Protection now from SLA only!

SLA used a young, dynamic team of troops to capture Pooneryn and they didn't go to capture POW,though we have had 9 of them plus 41 of them with many bullet holes while many more perished last night (2am SL)in Mankulama...:-)

World s Ruthless Terrorists Lose Mankulam

KILINOCHCHI: BARELY two days after the fall of terrorist bastion, POONERYN, the newly-inducted War Heroes of the Task Force-III made another startling breakthrough Monday (17) morning when they brought the entire MANKULAM, the junction on the A-9 road with several major intersections and the surrounding area under the troops after a series of pitched battles.

What do you think -would it be Kili or Paranthan next?

BTW - I saw something our Selachoran said in Tamil
'they are waiting for orders / details to teach BIG LESSON to SLA' like that 'Crane (kokaa) who let go the one fish & grabbed all the rest' or somrething similar.

I'm a bit worried about this as its coming from SERACholan
:(

MR has no options but to dissolve parliament & hold the election prior to the expirty of the current term just to turn down the pressure from TN/INDIA to implement ceasefire immediately. Also the Pre-election is necessity & inevitable before the majority sinhala modyayas come to realise how they are penetrated into deep sh..it economy that will lead to them to take over more singala life inthe form of economic suicide in terms of jobless/business failures.

The fruit of Mahinda Chintanaya in the form of suicie killings among the majority modayans is on the way. Though it is unfortunate but inevitable... good luck modayans.

I have some info...but this is not the right place to discuss them. But I know for sure pressure is applied from South by TF2 56 and 59.Hence I would expect a multi pronged push to last Eelam Burial Grounds.Kili and Paranthan already deserted except for few awaiting to slow SLA campaign. But SLA is on top, ready for any eventualitiy..:-)

MR has to support India but he has to always disappoint TN politicians.

Elections won't help in that. IT will screw him up and the country too. that is all.

The last thing they should do now is changing the guard.
