REVY's post explains everything.
This news report is for Propaganda for LTTE diaspora and LTTE wants to give the HOPE that they will rebound.
In other words, LTTE did not want GOSL to make big fuss out of the Poonaryn fall and with this report LTTE says that they are still in control.
AnuD do you think 25 dead SLA is equivalent to Pooneryn? It is a minor action, if LTTE was doing this for propaganda purposes they could have easily claimed 100+ SLA killed, we know it has happened in the past, so would have been easy to believe too.
As I said this was the SLA trying their luck and probing the defences. Nothing more nothing less..for now. |

Some have argued to convert Muslims to Buddhism.
It shows their foolishness.
No body can change the Muslims belief on their religion.
It is so solid.
They may even give up their native language,etc but never the religion. |

Astro turf, even LTTE could not be 100% sure of it, which is why they moved all the heavy guns out, but the NF is a different matter, as your forces have learnt on many an occasion. |

Number is not the important.
LTTE wants to show that they are still in control EVENTHOUH LTTE lost Poonaryn.
I don't think this is the first SLA casualty.
