The UNP needs a complete enema (!!!). The have to be washed out from top to bottom. But then again, the people will never forget what they did. I liked Premadasa, but what he did to those 600 policemen was brutal. Then giving all those weapons to the ltte. Of course Ranil is the best joker of the UNP. Give me a break, the guy can't even talk properly. People are talking about the present Govt. and the corruption, but what did Gamini D do at the Mahaweli projects? If MR finishes this war on a winning note, forget the UNP. The SLFP will rule the country for a long time - but they have to get rid of some of the deadwood as well. (Dran.... did I say all that about the UNP? My Dad must be turning in his grave) |

I think he was in opposition at that time, not in UNP. since it was under President wijetunga times they captured.
right well he was referring to Ranil actually...well he did made it look like he was on that side....:))

TROOPS operating ahead of the Forward Defence Line (FDL) in the general areas of MUHAMALAI, KILALY and NAGARKOVIL launched attacks on LTTE positions inflicting heavy damages on LTTE terrorists on Friday (14) and early morning of Saturday (15). Tigerforce I know you get mostly enlightened by Defence.lk as there are no other source to provide you with information...:-)
Veer northern winds were negotiated successfully with 7 fatalities and 40 walking wounded against 63 Eelamists perished and 9 wounded were captured,but the final figures may be higher on the Eelamists as clearing is still ongoing.Updates for Pooneryn and Muhamlai available in Youtube...:-)
