Look TE has better communication systems than you think. I know only the fact that they make the aircrafts. Just like Hundai make cars in Chennai.

now the Q is... do you support devolving power to the eastern province?? ie,,police power, land control power, education and finance or similar to the Indian system?? |

Electricity Board manages to meet Sri Lanka's power demand despite the LTTE air attack
Monday, November 3, 2008, 6:11 GMT, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.
Nov 03, Colombo: Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has managed to repair some of the damaged electricity generating systems at the Kelanitissa Power Station in Colombo and replenish the national power grid.
The recent repairs carried out in one damaged system have enabled the CEB to replace 115MW which was lost due to the recent air strike by the Tamil Tiger terrorists.
However, GT7 turbine system which produces 50 MW and Steam Power Generators which were generating 40MW are yet to be repaired and the repairs are estimated to take few months.
An earlier decision mulled by the CEB to go for power cuts on a time table over the entire island has been abandoned due to sufficient rains being received at the catchment areas with all hydro power generators working on full scale.
