	I for one will not apologize for my father's sins. I did apologise for the mistakes by mine. Even though I did not know this at that time, I then gained the value of the good work by my father. That is the law of Natural Justice. One who owns the pain owns the gain.

	YOu guys dwell in a past that can never be changed. Hence all the hatred and anger is fermenting inside. And that is when karma takes over and makes you share in our pain. In Colombo quite a few Sinhalese are irritated with the government for stopping traffic to protect their VIPs. Karma sure happens.

	Gaja You contradict yourself. Australians apologized for their wrong doings to the natives. They had to as the collective conscience of White Australia wanted to do so. Sri Lankans don't have to. As the Tamils and Sinhalese lived as one throughout history apart from regular invasions from both sides. Why should one side apologize for something that the other side was guilty of as well.

I am one of them... but I have a books in my car to keep me occupied. It is small sacrifice we make. Compared to what the SLDF is sacrificing on our behalf, I feel ashamed to be sitting in a traffic jam.
No one I know ever complains about sudden road closures as a 15 minute inconvenience can never be compared to a bomb that kills even one person.

why fight?
If Tamils need a country, try negotiating with India, makes sense to have it there where 60 mil Tamils live...

If the Diaspora can live in affluent countries, learning the respective language and following the rule of those countries.. why not in Sri Lanka?

It's very simple logic..

Because history has always been writen by the 'winners, it's better to be pragmatic and deal with the present problems

Why do you think these guys burnt the Jaffna library that contained more than 90'000 valuable ola leaves manuscripts ??

Then you have no right to talk about Sri Lanka. THis is not yours to get involved in.

It is my homeland. The place where I born.. Don't worry I won't kill you.. Btw who are you to tell me what I can do and not do ???

Thank God indeed... had you been here, you would have been dead by now in some trench line in the Vanni or languishing in prison for crimes against the state.

Or abducted by the state for a crime I didnt commit. Or captured by the army and buried because Im Tamil. Thanks God again and again..

But still Lankans in majority are narrow minded people.
