It's not journalistic news when a dog bites a man. If a man bites a dog then it becomes news but cannot it become a news when a man bites an undomesticated journalist??.

There is a law to load bulls to a train. There should be a six inch gap between each of them but for private buses the law is not applicable and it has not become a news.

In 1970 the price of sugar increased then soda also increased. The Newspapers did not query as to why it happened.

In our country when the prices of diesel increased the price of the platform ticket also increased. Cannot the newspapers question why this increased??

There is daily news about the Sakvithi Scam. But there is no question asked about those who are mentioned as wrongdoers in the COPE report.

Most of the judges of the supreme court who got appointments contravening the 17th amendment to the constitution but supreme court solves the cases the governments unfair appointments by way of fundamental rights. Should not we ask that they can give a fair judgment??

The late MP Sooriyarachchi was accused in a court for misusing a double cab but Why is there is no case against Ven Ellawela when he sold a government vehicle??

Thilanga Sumathipala was accused in a court for violating immigration law but Karuna Amman who made the same violation was appointed as MP to the parliament. Should not we ask to verify this??.

Its good to search melamine in chocolate but why is that there is no search how much poison is on the plate of rice the normal folk eats.

There is a fine if you sell a bottle of water above the tagged price but the Consumer Authority cannot be questioned why its not taking up the case when the prices of diesel and petrol sold on higher price.

The estate women's and other casual women workers maternal leave is calculated as 84 days which includes the holidays but those women who are in the Government and Private sector, the maternal leave is calculated after deducting the holidays(about 100 days) Cannot we ask that there is a difference in the delivery??

There is an increase of salary for those who eat bread with butter but those who eat only bread the increase is only that of bread. Why don't we clarify that this is happening because of the war??.

did you watch 'First Australians' on SBS?

No, I thought of it and wanted to. But there was not enough interest from rest of the family. So we ended up watching Arasi - Tamil Teledrama promoting the Tamil woman in Police Service.

You need not divide the country, all can live in a united country.

well I didn't ask to divide the country (neither the majority) it's purely a Tamil racist ideologue that arose due to dwindling powers of the Tamil elite in early 20th century...

Pamela,

Tamils were equally cruel when they were the invaders... funny how you people always forget that bitter part of your own history.

Do you think it is appropriate to ask Karunanithi to say sorry or should we wait until we get Mr. Rudd's parallel as the Chief Minister before expecting that?

By you people do you mean Indian Tamils included and leading the way?

And what about descendents of Vijaya ? When are they going to apologise to native Sri Lankans/ Ceylon Aborigines?

You cannot compare SL to Switzerland nor to S'Pore....

Yeah you are right, how the hell can I compare a Terrorist Failed State with a developed nation ?

My apologizes.. lol.. Next time I will compare it to Rwanda , Congo or Somalia and maybe Burma.

Sri Lanka is 25th best failed state.. Don't ask me why !!

Switzerland is traditionally been a country with no wars to destroy them. They stayed neutral throughout all Wars in the past century.
They are next to Germany and France.. So they were directly touched by WW1 and 2... They stayed neutral even if they kept Nazis Gold in their banks..

Sri Lanka, is part of the 3rd world where majority still live under the poverty line and where development and economic progress has been slow to catch up.

Why ??? What about Malaysia or Thailand.. They were too 3rd world.. But look how these countries look now..

You guys go as refugees to these counties and get attracted superficially at the progresses and the 'peaceful' nature without realizing that this is the result of generations of like minded people working together for a common goal.

You guys are so stupid that you assume everything that I didnt say or think.

typica tamil woman...

It suits you to be ignorant of the true history of the country you're domiciled.. It's the same in Sri Lanka Gaja... the same mentality, ignorance of the true history...

you need to come out of your tribal mentality, gaja.. it is unfortunate that you live in Australia, but constrained by your own narrow cultural chains..

I know that you're an older person, but your maturity is of a teenager... Even Karuna Amman has out grown you.. shame.

We cannot apologize for our ancestors sins...

Mr. Rudd may have had an ulterior motive to do that when he apologized to the Natives. In a way they had to as they literally stole the land from the Aboriginals.

But the case is different in SL. Both our people lived here more or less at the same time and both were equally to blame for the resent troubles.

I for one will not apologize for my father's sins.

YOu wont hear a Sri Lankan asking for anyone to apologize for past nonsense. Life has to move on. YOu guys dwell in a past that can never be changed. Hence all the hatred and anger is fermenting inside.
Let it go. Otherwise you will die miserable. You are are already miserable. Accept it.
