Gaja, the self proclaimed female version of mahatma Gandhi and M/s. know it all..............
While we don't fully approve monks engaging in politics, history however paints a whole other picture. Monks have and I repeat have always come forward when the country and race needed them. So whether you people like it or not or try to insult Buddhism or otherwise, this will happen a long as blood flows in our veins!
We don't exactly live in the times of the enlightened one. one has to be practical and come to terms with ground realities!
Keep this in mind............SL doesn't belong to you and It never will!
And if I may add, the writer of this article seems to be in utter frustration and hallucinating for the most part!

Author of this article is some one called Arush from UK. LeN called this is a Defence Analysis Report . Anyone can see its another one sided storey from a LTTE sympathizer. Have a look at the place names he used (ex. Anuradhapuram) its quite unreal when wise minded defense analyst use Tamil names identify Sinhalese city names. Its showing how racist he is. And have a look at the facts, according to him LTTE got about 60,000 carders. Any one who with well informed mind even with a size of peanut know its total bull s%$#.
LeN advertised a vacancy for a local news translator sometimes back and one of my friends applied and went for an interview. And I couldn t believe what they ve requested from my friend during the interview, they said they are favoring to UNP and he (my friend) may need to alter some news to tarnish government views in the favor of UNP views.
No wonder they got an award few weeks ago. Best creative website. Money talks in Sri Lanka.
LeN didn t even bother to publish my reply to above article on their website. What a bunch of morons.

By using words such as insult Buddhism you are revealing lack of appreciation of my global investment in common and of my investment in Buddha in particular. Whenever I was in an area where there were Buddhist majority I prayed to Buddha to help me connect to the good in majority. It has worked all the time. Pity you did not connect to that. |

Those of you who do take up Buddha's form and accept the benefits that come through it - have the obligation to follow Buddha's form. Others have the privilege of investing in the form of their choice. |

It already does. It happened when I belonged to Sri Lanka in common. What's in the heart cannot be overridden by the calculations of the mind. Try investing in ownership each time you do something. Ownership means you work or sacrifice without any return others can give you but in the belief that it would benefit the whole group. Try it and know that you are not yet a realised owner.

A big piece of advice - learn to spell properly before you criticize others. advice in this context is spelt with a c and not s. |
