Today tamils are the poorest ethnic group in the world!
Tamil community is not begging for money, food for survival. Extending help among tamil community is cannot be coined as begging. Whereas sinhaleese is begging money, food, medicines etc. for their own survival from other communities & countries. This shows who is poorest. |

would your race in the middle east countries, let any of the outsiders(non muslims) buy a property in their land? and would they respect other races or other religions in their land????
Mlaysia is a Muslim country with Malay spoken only there, like Sinhalese in Sri Lanka. She also wanted to develop her language.
Her province Singapore had more Chinese and but Malaysia wanted Malay to be the Official Language. After witnessing Sinhala Only Act and how that destryed Sri Lanka Lee Kuan Yew wanted to make 3 Official languages including Tamil though Tamils made up of just 4.2% of the population with English as the link language. This was in 1964.
Because Yew would not listen to Malaysia, Malaysia forced S'pore to secede to become independent and you may know the latter is one of the richest with all communities live in peace and harmony and work as Singaporians, even many Sinhalese professionals go there to work.
Malaysia also prospered. On the contrary SL ibsisted on Sinhala ONly and created disunity and ethnic war. Malaysia discriminated the minorities but because of the creation of wealth Indians and Chinese continued to live there. Even the decendents of SL Tamils do not want to come to SL as their standard of living is much higher there than their counter parts back in SL.
That is the difference between Muslim and Sinhala Buddhist countries. Sinhalese destroyed SL and Malaysia built the country and its economy though got independence in 1957.
UNitary state means one community, the majority, rules the minorities like a colony. DEmocracy in SL means govt by Sinhalese, govt for Sinhalese and govt of Sinhalese.

Both university education and industry go hand in hand. If there are no industries, where will you apply your acquired knowledge? But when it comes to minority, this is a issue. If they are not given industrial opportunities, they are being discriminated. If they are given opportunities, majority is trying to employ them as slaves. This the complex minority is suffering all over the world. Look at black Americans in US. Even, if there is a hurricane, white man is responsible fore that and they should be fed and keep them warm.
Best thing is to neglect minority and move forward. If you want adjust, otherwise, get lost. That is what now happening in SL now. |

Mahawamsaya tells tamils did that , did this.. etc. Why were they forced to do this? They started with Gandhian principles by fasting etc.. but your goons didnt spare them. Then came moderate tamils who were willing to work if they were recognised, you goons sent military.. Sending military is always treated as suppression. Instead your government should have talked and removed the issue at the budding point.... but didnt care, because of idiotic monks who poke their nose in every thing. Unless these monks are kept out of the process, peace never ever returns. Then the 83 riots made things worse.. that is the starting point of LTTE. Still going on.. and it will go on and on... until you people understand.

Why were you people here. JVP and JHP should be banned. Religious Fundamentalists are cause for trouble in all countries.
