SLA can go to POONAryn from three directions.
Another 4 km to Poonaryn FDL. It may take another one week to reach there after consolidating Sempankundu. LTTE may have already moved away their big guns. Just wonder how many 130 and 122 mm, they have. |

| The distance between Sangupiddy and Thanankilappu across Jaffna lagoon is about 5 km. to have a land route between Jaffna and Mannar, SLA has to construct a 5km long elevated road across Jaffna lagoon. Engineering regiments of SLA may already be getting ready for the construction. It would be very productive if they can get soil from some old tanks in Poonaryn area. So that, they can increase the storage capacity of those tanks to help farmers. One stone, two birds. |
