PRESIDENT Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday urged those engaged in scientific research to focus their attention on military research. --army.lk
After VP had poured in money to R&D and stole the show by delevering most lethal Tamil Eelam made weaponary, MR is trying to imitate VP!
Military research? Come on! Let them learn how to operate a radar first. Then do research on how to make a bullet! |

The Government of India cannot in any way allow itself to be seen to be rushing to the rescue of LTTE supremo Vellupalli Prabhakaran as Sri Lanka troops close in on his stronghold in Kilinochchi. The fulminations of MDMK chief Vaiko and his deputy to lead armed supporters into Sri Lanka has landed them in jail on sedition and anti-national activities charges.
External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee's categorical rejection of withdrawal of non-lethal military support to the Sri Lankan armed forces has set the record straight that India will do nothing to reduce the momentum (an important ingredient in warfare) of the Sri Lanka armed forces in their attacks on Prabhakaran bunkers in Kilinochchi. India has no love lost for the man and the organization that has brought so much grief on the people of Tamil origin by his suicide bombing tactics to try and carve out a separate homeland instead of seeking honourable accommodation within a unified political entity.

Arjuna Ranatunga, the chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), has said it is 'unfair' the national board does not gain any money for releasing its players for the IPL . The SLC, he said, will now ensure it becomes the sole representative of its players and earns revenue from any future contract they sign with other organisations, he said. |

Sri Lanka war escalates after 'silencing India factor'
Colombo, Oct 31: 'Silencing the Indian factor' was a 'tower of strength' for advancing troops to accomplish their task of marching into the Tamil Tiger rebels' 'politico-administrative capital' of Kilinochchi in Sri Lanka's north, a media report said here on Friday.

theb punnaku comes from you /sla outnumbers ltte 10 to 1 according to col hariharan and still stuck in west of a9
CyberPOSE
the following is NOT from Col Hariharan's Blog :)))))))))
The security forces have more troops, larger options, better technology, more victories and lesser casualties to help their morale.
Prabhakaran in his interview to Nakkeeran a Tamil weekly has expressed his happiness at the protests in Tamil Nadu. He has said these sentiments added to the LTTE strength. On the other hand the clear statement of Indian Foreign Minister Pranabh Mukherjee on India distancing itself from the Eelam War would have warmed the hearts of the security forces. |
