Air Force jets raid suspected hideout of top LTTE leader - Kilinochchi

Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets raided a suspected hideout of senior terrorist leader Soosai at 2.25, this afternoon (Oct 31).

According to Air Force media spokesperson, Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara, the target was located in the Jayanthinagar area, 2.5km west of Akkarayankulam tank. However, he said that the exact damage caused by the attack has not been verified.

Sooasi is known as the leader of the Sea Tigers, the seaborne wing of the terrorists.

Yesterday bombed Pottus hideout, today bombed Soosai's hide out.

SLAF seems to be a bit mad over something:)

I sleep under trees sometimes when I go on trips.... it's nice. You should try it sometimes, Puli. You will feel one withe the Vanni civilians. Your little sacrifice for the cause.

Did this air raid militarily or strategically help the LTTE in the battlefield?

It gives a strong message to Extreemist Sinhalayas and rest of the world.....no matter you capture any part of LTTE areas in North or East.....sinhalaya will not be able to have peaceful living in south....there is a big change in Colombo media and common sinhalaya comments after the recent TAF Bombing in Colombo and Mannar....it is a matter of time for the rest of sinhala weerayas to realize facts of war in wanni....Jayawewa

Fact on youtube
