Troops continue to dominate north of Akkarayankulam- Kilinochchi

Troops of Army 57 division operating in the western half of the Kilinochchi battle frontage continued their forward domination operations in the recently cleared areas in the North of Akkarayankulam tank yesterday (Oct 26).
Infantrymen of 571 brigade attacked and captured a terrorists bunker located in the West of Akkarayankulam area around 8.30 AM. Terror casualties in this incident were not known.
Meanwhile, 572 brigade operating in the east of Akkarayankulam area confronted with a group of terrorists detected in the area around 8.30 AM. Intercepted LTTE transmissions confirmed heavy damages to the terrorists. Later , during search operations troops found one body of an LTTE cadre along with a T-56 riffle. Also, snipers deployed in the forward area confirmed acquiring 2 targets in the evening hours.
Troops of 574 brigade operating to the eastern flank of Kilinochchi front attacked 2 LTTE bunkers in Kokavil area around 1 PM. Troops confirmed heavy damages to the terrorists . Same brigade troops confronted with a group of terrorists in the Panikkankulam area around 1.40 PM and claimed heavy damages to the terrorists .
Wanni liberation operations are being continued.
The Editorial Board of defence.lk has decided to temporary suspend the reporting of all casualty figures in relation to the ongoing counter terrorist operation in Wanni. This is in consideration of the continuing advance of the security forces there and the need for operational security, whereby such reportage may impede the successful accomplishment of the mission.

The fact is that the welcome committee in Kili must be beefed up to its maximum and there is no harm in being more than extra careful. |

India is having internal issues since TN is making a big racket over SL war...
SLDF is progressing on all the battlefronts... maybe not at the pace we want it to be but under prevailing weather it's not too bad...
amidst of all of this...SL authorities stops releasing casualty figures from 'both' sides...
TN and IC backs down on the pressure...
LPTE is still loosing territory and SLDF is advancing...

the aim is still, killing at least 10 to 30 tiger terrorists per day.
there is no place to run, no place to hide.
there might be some space left, under a woman's skirt or behind some
innocent children in the idp camps of mulaitivu.
what means territory, we talk about some odd square kilometers!
eelam only exists in the minds of the diaspora and tamil nadu.
and the sl tamils must pay the price for their short minded aspirations.
tamils are still sad, they did not get an own country in the '60 riots from india, like pakistan,bangladesh got one! poor fools...
therefore they finance their proxy war by all means. |

Karuna Amman was the only true skilled commander they had. LTTE is now paying for the loss of its only fighter.
Simple truth: They haven't won a single battle after Karuna Amman left ! |

| Yes is akkarayan and Thalaady army camp is 250 klm distance. because of that LTTE takaran Flights bombed and kelanitissa power plant is 250 klm from colombo SL airforce. |

| Are we there yet? I mean kilinochchi? About a month ago we were told 2kms to kili and that the buildings in the town were within cite of our forces. Last week we were told that the forces were about 10-15kms from kili. Now we are being told this dominating story... what the hell is going on? Are we going forwards or backwards or are we totally lost and clueless not knowing where we are going? |
