but what really takes the cake is how the LTTE is carrying out gas attacks on the armed forces without a whimper of protest from the omnipotent international community

WHY is that?

Is it to be taken that the IC is supporting these acts of terrorism by the LTTE?

If so WHY does the IC seem pro-LTTE instead of being pro-Govt? What has made the IC turn anti-govt but pro-LTTE?

The IC looks at the tamils differently and the LTTE differently. They do not consider them to be one and the same. But BOTH the LTTE and the tamils are fighting for the right for self determination. The IC favors the demand of the tamils while it does not condone the activity of the LTTE.

Hasn't the IC been instrumental in banning the LTTE around the world? Why has the LTTE been banned? Isn't it because they resort to all types of terror tactics including inhuman gas attacks? Then what is this hue and cry saying the IC is silent when the LTTE attacks with gas?

The fact seems to be that the IC is anti LTTE, BUT pro-tamil and supports their demand for self determiniation. That makes th IC seem pro-LTTE as even the LTTE is fighting for separatism.

However much we organise anti-LTTE propoganda it will not make a difference on the demand of the tamils wanting self determination. The LTTE is banned, they are classified as a terrorist group, their activists are arrested and jailed, there funding systems are busted, their offices are raided etc etc all over the world so what more can be achieved by us having anti-LTTE protests? The world already knows the LTTE are ruthless terrorists.

The only remaining aspect for us seems to be to tell the world that ALL tamils ARE LTTE supporters. Are we now harping on LTTE attrocities to do that?
