AIADMK, MAJOR OPPOSITION PARTIES TO BOYCOTT ALL-PARTY MEETING
Chennai, Oct 13: The All-Party meeting convened by the DMK Government in Tamil Nadu on the Sri Lankan Tamils' issue, got bogged down with major opposition parties led by the AIADMK, boycotting it.


Tamil Nadu RESTORES BACKWARD CASTE QUOTA FOR CHRISTIANS
Chennai, Oct 13 : Following representations from community leaders, the Tamil Nadu government Monday withdrew the 3.5 percent special reservation for Christian in educational institutions and restored the quota for them in the backward castes category.


Tami Nadu Dist takes up sanitation programme
Pudukkottai,Tamil Nadu, Oct 13 : The Pudukkottai District Administration has fixed target of CONSTRUCTING 31,772 TOILETS under the subsidy-based 'Total Rural Sanitation Programme'during the current financial year, according to District Collector Reeta Harish Thakkar. (43)
