Why paid Rs.10,500/- for a saw worth Rs.875/- Auditor General questions IGP

A fish knife which is Rs. 250 in the market has been purchased for Rs. 1350

A table knife which is Rs. 100 in the market has been purchased for Rs. 575

A coconut shell spoon which is Rs. 20 in the market has been purchased for Rs. 200

A stainless steel rice spoon which is Rs. 40 in the market has been purchased for Rs. 250

A plastic waste bin which is Rs. 575 in the market has been purchased for Rs. 3950

A cross saw which is Rs. 875 in the market has been purchased for Rs. 1350
