I do not deny the possibility of TN invasion. It happened in the history and could be happened in future. But the fact remained that Sinhalese as a nation responded all TN (Chola, Soli)invasions in the history. I do not say the Cholas were less powerful than Helas. Cholas were powerful but somehow Sinhalese defended the country and the territory.
But as of now, TN is blooming economically following AP. I do not think TN politicians will put any obstacles in front of them. So an invasion is very far from the reality. Its something that can be used to solace LNP peelamists. But they will definitely put up some shows in TN to keep some of their voters happy. It is quite interesting to see how TN stage this perform and how far they will ready to go. It all depends on how Colombo and Delhi sketches their plans. |

For example, there are people who believe the never-tell-the truth Asiatribune or Defence.lk in preference to what the Oz FM says in his website. The motive is to keep the public brain washed with innuendos and lies so thatthe destructive war campaign can be carried through to its bitter end. |

I thought that was a closed minded person.....like Vessi Pissa who thinks that the only solution to the tamil issue is to wage war.... after all, he is a high school drop out and the only thing he really knows is how wage war and not too well either...look at all the strategic errors he has committed.
Oh, I forgot. There is one other thing he does really well and that is to suck in the diaspora to send money and lots of it, to support his cause....actually, much of that goes into his Swiss bank account. Otherwise we would have seen a lot more schools, hospitals,etc in the so called 'uncleared' areas. All we see are cemeteries so where is all this money going? |

This is what MR has been doing during the last 3 years.
IC and minorities urged him to at least table a genuine proposal or solution and if rejected by LTTE go for a military attack to weaken or even destroy it. But MR won't listen to any of them. That can only mean he wants a military solution and not interested in any viable system based on equality of communities or multi-culturalism.
Persona insults demean the author more than the targeted individual or group. It's better to argue on facts and reasons than on mud slinging or name-calling.
